BVU understands that many customers have experienced financial hardship and uncertainty related to COVID-19. To assist our impacted customers, BVU temporarily suspended residential Non-Payment Disconnects for a total of 364 days, from March 16, 2020, to August 5, 2020, and November 20, 2020, to June 30, 2021.
Ultimately, customers are still responsible for all billed utility services. We urge customers to make every effort to keep their accounts current at all times. If you experience difficulty paying your electric bill, please contact us to discuss payment options. We will work with residential customers to set up payment arrangements and make any available accommodations. Maintaining payment arrangements will ensure your account remains in good standing, and your services remain connected once normal operations resume in July 2021.
Please contact BVU Customer Support before the close of business on Wednesday, June 30, 2021, to pay your full account balance or enter into an approved payment arrangement for any past-due account balance. For all residential accounts that have been paid in full or have approved payment arrangements in place by June 30, late fees and penalties accrued from March 15, 2020, to August 4, 2020, and November 20, 2020, to June 30, 2021, will not apply to the account.
