About BVU Authority
BVU Authority is an independent political subdivision of the Commonwealth of Virginia, providing electricity, water, and wastewater services to areas of Southwest Virginia. Headquartered in Washington County, Virginia, BVU Authority serves over 16,000 homes and businesses across a 125-square-mile service area. Our customers are located in the City of Bristol, Virginia; portions of Washington County, Virginia; Scott County, Virginia; and Sullivan County, Tennessee.

BVU Authority employs approximately 65 individuals and is governed by a five-member Board of Directors dedicated to delivering high-quality utility services.
